Applications are open for the 7th Doctoral School on Latin American, European and Comparative Regionalism. The aim of the Doctoral School is to bring together a group of Ph.D. and other young researchers for a series of lectures by leading senior academics in the field of Latin American, European and Comparative Regionalism, and to discuss their research projects in tutorial sessions.
The Doctoral School seeks to establish a new network of researchers dealing with regionalism, based at universities all over the Latin American continent and beyond. The Doctoral School will take place in Quito and will last for one week, from July 30 – August 3, 2018.
Cost and Benefits
- The enrolment fee for participants includes participation in all lectures and events, lunches and coffee breaks. The normal fee is $450 USD, the reduced fee for Latin American students is $350 USD. A limited number of scholarships are available to cover participants’ enrolment fee and on-campus accommodation. On-campus accommodation is possible. A special rate is offered to participants in this event, depending on availability.
- Participants will receive a certificate from the Universidad Andina/UNU-CRIS. This certificate may be used to satisfy requirements of the doctoral training programmes in the participants’ home universities.
Eligibility
- Applicants should be doctoral students from all social science sub-disciplines in various stages of their research projects dealing with Latin American Regionalism or Comparative Regionalism.
