Europe on Track is a project of AEGEE, run by young volunteers who aim to raise awareness, to create a space for discussion and to capture the opinions of youth in Europe on important social issues. Thanks to Interrail, the 6 ambassadors in 2 teams (one videographer, one photographer and one interviewer per team) will travel by train across 20 countries in one month to deliver workshops, interview young people and organize events in cooperation with 200 volunteers from over 30 cities in Europe.
This year the project focuses on the Future of Europe and Youth Participation. YOU can apply to become one of those ambassadors!

- Your trip from home to the starting point of the routes (Istanbul, Turkey) and back from the final stop (Brussels, Belgium) to your location will be covered under certain conditions.
Eligibility
If you:
- are between 18-30 years old, as of March 2019
- are active in a (international) student organization or non-profit organization
- have experience developing and delivering workshops or presentations in English
- are interested and knowledgeable about European politics and youth participation
- are responsible, reliable and initiative
- have a can-do and up-for-anything attitude
- are resistant to stress and physical fatigue
- like to talk and work with people of different ages and cultures
- have backpacking and travelling experience
They are looking for 6 people, 2 for each role.
Eligibility for the roles following:
- Interviewer:
- Have your own recorder (phone with enough space and microphone also works)
- Previous experience blogging/writing
- Previous experience doing interviews
- High command of written English
- Have your own laptop you can write on and bring during the trip
- Photographer:
- Photoshooting and editing skills are necessary
- Your own camera and tripod
- Your own editing software
- Extra batteries for your camera that you can bring during the journey
- Your own laptop you can edit on and bring during the journey
- Videographer:
- Videomaking and editing skills are necessary
- Your own video camera and editing software
- Your own tripod that you can bring during the journey
- Extra batteries for your video camera that you can bring during the journey
- Your own laptop you can edit on and bring during the journey
