Applications are open for the Yale University ISTF Innovation Prize 2018. Since 2014, Yale University International Society of Tropical Foresters (ISTF) has offered an Innovation Prize at its annual conference to honor outstanding initiatives and ideas related to tropical forest use and conservation. In 2018, the Yale Chapter of the ISTF will bestow their 5th Annual Innovation Prize.
During the conference, the Innovation Prize presentations are moments when the theme of the conference is grounded in concrete case-studies and experiences. In line with the theme for the 2018 ISTF Conference, they are looking for innovative projects that deal with complex problems in tropical forest landscapes. The Conference is scheduled to come up from February 1-3, 2018.
The Conference Breakout Sessions will include Keynote Discussion led by each keynote presenter and facilitated by Yale Faculty, Speed Networking for participants to create network at the conference and Workshops that may center around case studies, specific lenses to complexity, or a new skill set.
