The Watson University Scholars Program is now open for applications. Watson University is starting a new program which brings promising young leaders from around the world, and puts them through a degree-bearing incubator, where they start and advance businesses or organizations aimed at alleviating some of the world’s most urgent social and environmental challenges.
The students are trained by a list of Master Course Teachers, which include a co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, the inventor of Google Glass (and self driving car), a Time Magazine Hero of the Planet, the COO of the most successful US presidential campaign in history, among many others. Watson aims to develop the next generation of Gandhi’s, Mother Teresa’s, Mandela’s, and Aung san Suu Kyi’s.

Benefits and Fellowships
In addition to generous financial aid, there are four full ride fellowships available for scholars who fit the criteria:
The Enlight China Fellowship: A full ride scholarship to one promising next generation social entrepreneur from greater China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan). The Enlight China Fellowship was generously created by the Enlight Foundation
The Enlight Women Fellowship: A full ride scholarship to one promising next generation social entrepreneur working to increase access and quality of education for women and girls around the world. The Enlight Women Fellowship was generously created by the Enlight Foundation.
The Luff Peace Fellowship: A full ride scholarship to one promising next generation social entrepreneur working to promote and usher in peace around the world. The Luff Peace Fellowship was generously created by The Luff family.
The Middle East Fellowship: A full ride scholarship to one promising next generation social entrepreneur from the Middle East. The Middle East Fellowship was created by Watson to support innovation coming from next generation social entrepreneurs in the Middle East.
Eligibility
- Applications are open to student innovators, leaders, and entrepreneurs aged 18-23
- Applicants are those committed members of the next generation driven to create the future.
