SafirLab is an annual program inviting young people carrying new initiatives in the fields of media or civil society to a mentorship and experience-sharing platform, to develop their projects and share their experiences. It will take place in Paris from 9th to 23rd November 2014. Around twenty young actors will benefit from this program.
The objective of SafirLab is to create a sustainable dialogue with young people. Designed as a “cradle” for projects, it supports this youth in their journey to realise their professional or associative project by offering them mentorship and personalised tools and methods. SafirLab also aims at establishing a network based on common values and the sharing of experiences.
Eligibility
- SafirLab is open to young people from Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia, and Yemen
- Applicants should be offering initiatives related to citizenship, local governance, as well as media, and participating in the evolution and the dynamism of their country’ s civil society
- Applicants should be between the ages of 20 and 30 who are committed to the issues of citizenship, media and local governance
