Nigerian teenagers are now invited to apply for the 2013 Essay Competition sponsored by Naija Teenz and Kidz4Biz with the support of Indigo Trust and the Co-Creation Hub in Lagos. The competition challenges participants to read selected books and write an essay to answer the question: How can honest profit making make the difference in your life at 25? Two winners will receive 100 each and the first 20 entries will win Naija Teenz T-shirts.
How to Participate
Download one or all of the books below and use your understanding from the book to answer this question in 500 words (age 13-15) 700 words (16-19).
Johnny Profit – Johnny Profit rescues a small village from poverty by teaching them the value of honest profit making. Prizes
- The winner in age group one (13-15) wins $100 or its naira equivalent.
- The winner in age group two (16-19) wins $100 or its naira equivalent. As long as you are not 20 before 31st July, 2013 you can participate.
- The first 20 entries win Naija Teenz T-shirts
- The winner will be announced in August when we plan to start a bigger competition.

- You must be an Nigerian teenager between 13 and 19 years

- You must reference at least one of the three books in your final work.
